Jeff Black MD, MDiv has some of the most extraordinary credentials we've ever seen. As a psychiatrist, a seminary graduate and an energy healer trained by shamans, Jeff is offering a workshop on Psychiatry Meets Shamanism: Mystical Practices for Working With Loss and Trauma, and will also be speaking on Mind, Body and Spirit Medicine.

Gary U. Behrman, PhD, MSW, M.Div., LCSW is the senior clinician at CHADS Coalition for Mental Health, and assistant adjunct Professor at Saint Louis University. His research and publications focus on trauma recovery and the role of faith and spirituality in the healing process. He will be joining our "Heaven: A History" panel discussion.

Rabbi Dale Schreiber, MA, BCC, CFS is a board certified chaplain, hospice Jewish care coordinator, compassion fatigue specialist, and mystic with extensive experience in intuiting the soul-filled needs of the dying and helping them articulate their beliefs about what lies beyond. She will joining our "Heaven: A History" panel discussion.

Dr. Linda Backman, a psychologist and regression therapist, discusses the understanding of reincarnation in ancient religions in her presentation, The Disappearance of Ancient Beliefs in Reincarnation.

Linda Fitch is a practicing shaman who has studied with the Inka of Peru for 16 years. She has trained hundreds of students in shamanic healing techniques, with a special emphasis on shamanic practices for conscious dying.

Rev. Dr. Jean A. Leone, D.Min., MSN-Ed. Jean is a hospice-palliative nurse and chaplain who will be speaking on "A Good Place to Die," about creating spiritually supportive internal and external environments for patients at end-of-life.

Kevin Haselhorst, MD is an emergency physician, educator and author who founded Graceful Departures to help patients and caregivers approach death with ease and tranquility.

Kitty Edwards is a shamanic practitioner and master teacher who directs The Living & Dying Consciously Project. Her workshop, Preparing for Death as a Rite of Passage, is designed for caregivers and/or professionals who work with the dying, and will teach energetic processes for assisting the soul as it journeys from this world to the next.

Rev. Olivia is founder of Sacred Crossings, which provides education in home funerals, conscious dying and death midwife training. Her workshop will focus on planning a home funeral, specifically the care and preparation of the body and rituals for burial or cremation. Nursing CEUs available.

Hospice physician Karen Wyatt MD will discuss how end-of-life care is evolving in responses to the needs of baby boomers and their parents.

He has authored numerous scholarly articles, and is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the World Congress on Clinical and Preventive Cardiology. He will discuss the elements commonly experienced in NDEs and the future of NDE studies.

Dr. Alan Hugenot, a physicist and near-death experiencer, will share his research on how quantum physics supports the survival of consciousness after physical death, and the currents scientific work being done on mediumship at the Institute of Noetic Sciences.
