"There’s Still Time to Plan Your Best VBS Ever!" Church Programs: Society of Saint Andrew of Big Island, Virginia, United States for Monday, 11 April 2016

Vacation Bible School doesn’t have to cost a fortune to be great—you just need a program that works for your congregation. Time is flying, but if you start planning this month, you can still have an amazing VBS this summer!!

Choose Year 1: Old Testament or Year 2: New Testament. Both are absolutely FREE, and include Bible background and lesson preparation helps for teachers and complete resources for storytelling, arts & crafts, recreation, music, snacks, and hunger-focused mission activities, along with VBS planning suggestions and daily memory verses.

You’ll find lots of additional resources, too, including photos and videos for projection and a well-stocked Pinterest board with extra ideas and teaching helps. There’s enough material for five 2-3 hours sessions in each year’s packet. It’s theologically sound, earth and budget friendly, and so much fun for kids! The curriculum is broadly graded for Older Preschoolers–Grade 6. You can easily adapt it for summer Sunday School, after-school programs, fifth-Sundayprograms, all-church retreats, and more!
Did I mention that everything is completely free?!! We only ask that you select the Society of St. Andrew as your mission project for VBS and that you encourage your participants to bring offerings each day that will provide healthy food for hungry people through the Society of St. Andrew’s work. Every 2¢ given will share one serving of fresh fruits or vegetables with people in this country who need good food most.
