Acts 4:1-9Acts 4:1 Kefa and Yochanan were still speaking to the people when the cohanim, the captain in charge of the Temple police, and the Tz’dukim came upon them, 2 very annoyed that they were teaching the people the doctrine of resurrection from the dead and offering Yeshua as proof. 3 The Temple police arrested them; and since it was already evening, they put them in custody overnight. 4 However, many of those who heard the message trusted; the number of men alone was about five thousand.
5 The next day, the people’s rulers, elders and Torah-teachers assembled in Yerushalayim, 6 along with ‘Anan the cohen hagadol, Kayafa, Yochanan, Alexander and the other men from the family of the cohen hagadol. 7 They had the emissaries stand before them and asked, “By what power or in what name did you do this?”
8 Then Kefa, filled with the Ruach HaKodesh, said to them, “Rulers and elders of the people! 9 If we are being examined today about a good deed done for a disabled person, if you want to know how he was restored to health,

Sunday Schedule - July 3
One Combined Service
On Sunday, July 3, there will be no 8:00 am service or Sunday School classes at 9:15 am. The 10:30 am worship service in the Sanctuary and regular children’s programming will take place as usual.

Summer Study
Tuesdays at 9:30 am, July 5-26
All women are invited to Women’s Ministries Summer Study on Tuesdays, July 5-26, from 9:30-11:30 am in Gilmore Hall. Enjoy worship, prayer, and PazNaz’s Debbie Wong teaching Seeing God in Your Journey: Life Lessons from Numbers 22. Each week will include a stand-alone lesson: What do you desire? What is your character? What is blocking you from seeing God? What are the blessings in your life? This study is free and there is no homework. Summer of Stories

Promotion Sunday

Kindergarten Graduation Breakfast
Sunday, July 10, at 9:30 am
Kindergarteners that are entering 1st grade are invited to a special breakfast in their honor with their parents/guardians on Sunday, July 10, at 9:30 am in Room 108, Lower Sanctuary. PazNaz Praise: A Night of Praise & Worship
Sunday, July 10, at 6:00 pm
Come enjoy an evening of praise and worship with the Celebration Choir and Sunrise Orchestra on Sunday, July 10, at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary. This event will have open seating, no tickets are required, and a freewill offering will be received. Childcare will be available for Birth to 5-years-old. College Student Retreat
Coming July 10-12
Recently graduated high school seniors, current college students, and recently graduated college students are invited to participate in a student retreat, July 10-12 at the Legacy Villas Resort in La Quinta, California. Save the Date for Family Activities Week
Coming July 18-21
It’s almost time for PazNaz Family Vacation Bible School! This year families will gather together, parents/guardians with children/teens, at PazNaz for times of worship and activities (think Fall Festival or Eggs-travaganza!). Family Activities Week will kick off Monday, July 18, with an all church beach trip and be followed by three nights of intergenerational worship and activities.
