Proverbs 9:9 Give to a wise man, and he grows still wiser;
teach a righteous man, and he will learn still more.
10 The fear of Adonai is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of holy ones is understanding.
11 For with me, your days will be increased;
years will be added to your life.
12 If you are wise, your wisdom helps you;
but if you scoff, you bear the consequences alone.”
13 The foolish woman is coarse;
she doesn’t think, and she doesn’t know a thing.

Have you ever read the same book twice? I love reading books. If I especially enjoy reading a book, I may read it again and again. The Bible is a good example of a book that we should read many times.
Verse 9 of our Bible Reading says, "Teach the wise, and they will become wiser. Instruct those who live right, and they will gain more knowledge." The more we read and experience God's Word, the wiser we become.
If a person starts reading the Bible as a child, his understanding is limited. But as that person grows, he reads the Bible again and again. Then he understands more about God and His commands.
Read the Bible today. Read it every day! God will bless you and give you understanding and wisdom.[BR]

"Wisdom begins with fear and respect for the Lord. Knowledge of the Holy One leads to understanding. Wisdom will help you live longer; she will add years to your life. If you become wise, it will be for your own good."[Proverbs 9:10-12a]

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the Bible. Help me to learn from it and understand it. In Jesus' name. Amen.
