Services for Dick Fields will be held Sunday, June 29, at 7:00pm in the First Church sanctuary. The visitation will be held in the sanctuary from 5:30pm until 7:00pm. There will be a private burial service for the family on Monday morning.

THIS SUNDAY, June 29, at 6:00pm, Marti Sprague will be presenting a special evening of narrative and music, focusing on the life and songs of famous hymn writer, Fanny Crosby. A love offering will be taken at this event to benefit True Light's Emancipation Station women's shelter in Kansas City.

Looking for a babysitter for next weekend? Our teens are offering their services this summer as they raise money for their upcoming trip to the Navajo Christian Foundation in Winslow, Arizona. Compassion Opportunities This Summer
Over the next few weeks, culminating on July 27, our upcoming Compassion Sunday, we will be collecting items for Blessing Bags. These bags can be placed in your car for moments when you encounter someone in need in our community. Please bring the following items to the mission display in the sanctuary foyer, and we will store them for the packing night on July 27. Leftover items will be given to another great cause--Crisis Care Kits that our church has been a part of assembling over the last year. Contact Margie Schwarz or Pastor Roland for more information!

July 1: Girls' Night Out! Come to the Schwarz's house (609 E 69th St, KC MO 64131) from 6:30pm-8:30pm for some yummy banana splits and fun!
July 18: Girls' Night Out! We will meet in the Children's Chapel at 6:30pm for a Rainbow Loom party! If you know how to make rainbow loom bracelets and already have supplies, bring them! If you don't know how to make them, or don't have supplies, come anyway! We can make some to keep and some to send to children in Haiti!
Youth Mission Trip

GriefShare
If you have lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend you have probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt that you feel. KC First's GriefShare group meets on Saturdays at 10:00am to pray, discuss, and watch videos on relevant topics.

With Deepest Sympathy
We are saddened at the news of the death of our dear friend, Dick Fields, who passed away this morning. Please remember Karen and the entire family as they grieve this great loss. Details for a memorial service are pending and we will make those available as soon as we know them.
