Greetings RezWest Friends,
Tomorrow, Saturday, August 2, we will bless our partner school, Ridgeview Elementary, by helping prepare the building and grounds for the start of the new school year. Several of you have already let me know that you are planning to participate, which is awesome! If you have not, no worries. Please know that you are still very welcome to show up and serve. NO SIGN UP IS REQUIRED AT THIS POINT. It is going to be an awesome MEGA MISSION day, and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning. Below is the schedule, planned project list, and suggested “what to bring” list.

Schedule
9:00 am           Meet at RezWest for final instructions, t-shirt pick-up (if you need one), project sign-up, snacks, and prayer
9:30 am           Load up school supplies, depart for Ridgeview Elementary, and begin projects once there
11:30 pm         Ridgeview Community Cookout and Water Play
1:00 pm           Clean-up begins
1:30 pm           Event concludes
Planned Projects
-School supplies (sorting and distributing)
-Landscaping (pulling weeds, hauling and distributing much mulch, picking up trash, beautifying the grounds)
-Crafts and Notes (making crafty gifts to surprise/encourage the Ridgeview teachers and writing encouraging notes to the students)
-Community Lunch (helping prepare and serving)
-Games and Activities (helping prepare and leading)
-Assembling picnic tables and a storage shed
What to Bring
-MEGA MISSION t-shirt (if you already have one)
-Swimsuits (if you are going to play water games / probably more for kids, but you never know)
-Shovels of all kinds (pointed, scooped, even big flat snow shovels)
-Wheelbarrows (the more the merrier)
-Rakes
-Garden hoes
-Weeding trowels and tools
-Power drills (we need a few)
-Work gloves
-Hat (if you want one)
-Sunblock
-Rain poncho (just in case)
