Join us for this Saturday's Mega Mission! Meet tomorrow morning 9am at Resurrection West for project selection, donut holes, coffee, and prayer. Then we will pack up the supplies and head over to Ridgeview Elementary to help beautify the grounds and prepare the classrooms for the start of the school year. We will also host a celebration luncheon for the Ridgeview community - complete with water play and fun for all ages! Wear your MEGA MISSION t-shirts (extras available) and help bless the school! There are powerful moments in Scripture of bold invitation; Andrew inviting Peter, Phillip inviting Nathaniel, the Samaritan women inviting her neighbors, Matthew inviting everyone to dinner, and Cornelius inviting his family and friends to meet Jesus! Each of these personal invitations changed lives and we have these stories among us here at Resurrection West. Before my family and I left for vacation, I talked with some members of our congregation about their stories and invited them to share them. Coffee with the Pastors - Sunday, August 24th 2:30-4:30pm Are you considering joining Resurrection? Saturday morning men's group - Kick off is Sept. 6th and we will be studying Tony Dungy's new book Uncommon Marriage. This study is a playbook for strengthening and improving your relationships. Explore life in Alpha - Do you have questions about the Christian faith? Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, friendly environment. My family and I are so grateful for the time away together, but we missed our Church and are glad to be back to worship with you on Sunday!
