"Washington Post Reviews the New Book" Rabbi Moffic of Highland Park, Illinois, United States - The Book is Here

Dear Friends,
The Washington Post just published a review of What Every Christian Needs to Know about the Jewishness of Jesus: A New Look at History's Most Influential Rabbi.
If you haven't gotten a copy yet, and the review intrigues you, now is the perfect time to get one. It makes for good reading for Lent or for preparation for Passover.
Wishing you all the best,
Rabbi Evan Moffic

The best scene in the film Ferris Bueller's Day Off is the trip to the Chicago Art Institute.
You remember…Ferris and his friends walk around exploring different sculptures, stained glass, and paintings. They experience the emotional highs and lows of great art.
The filmmaker's greatest attention is given to Ferris's friend Cameron. He spends a long time staring into George Seurat's famous A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of the La Grande Jatte.

That painting is made of tiny dots. Together the dots create that magnificent scene. But looked at up close, you see just tiny dots—points on a canvas.
Seurat painted it at the height of the pointillist movement, which broke down art into its tiniest details.
Seurat was making a point not just about art. But about life.
Life is a collection of tiny points in time. Every detail contributes to the canvas. Every choice we make. Every person we meet. We paint the canvas on which we live, detail by detail, day by day.
So what do we do with this truth?
We focus on those details. We try to get them right.
When we do that, the painting will not be perfect. No one's is. But it will be filled with integrity. With hope. With God.
How does your painting look?
P.S.: I have to admit—Sometimes I am not so good with the details. Several people have pointed out to me a few grammatical and spelling mistakes in What Every Christian Needs to Know About the Jewishness of Jesus. If you have found some, let me know. I'm compiling a list for the publisher!
