Suffering is Overwhelming
We are tempted to avoid the real brokenness plaguing our neighborhoods and our globe. Wesleyans stood against the cultural tide as abolitionists and can stand against the tide of injustices we see today. The FREE Just Challenge Toolkit gives you and your church simple ways to live in to God’s heart for justice.

"Heart of Ministry" Andrea Summers of The Wesleyan Women's Movement of The Wesleyan Church of Indianapolis, Indiana, United States for Wednesday, 10 February 2016
There are women with untapped potential buried inside them and God is waiting to release it for Kingdom work.
Nepal is one of the most oppressive countries in the world for WOMEN. There are sobering stats about illiteracy rates, human trafficking, poverty and gender inequality that you can read about here. But, suffice it to say… being a woman in Nepal means facing insurmountable obstacles… except God.
And here's the GOOD NEWS... God is moving in Nepal.
In case you think it’s up to you to rescue these women? Think again. God is already doing it through the leadership of The Wesleyan Church in Nepal. The church there has secured a building that houses their WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM. The first cohort of women is set to begin their five month internship in March, during which they will be equipped with vocational, literacy, and discipleship education.
It may not be up to you, but you can partner with what God is already doing. To continue to make this program a reality there are items that are needed, such as sewing machines, a generator and startup funds for income generating projects, which will help this ministry become self-sustaining.
In a context filled with oppression, the Church in Nepal is choosing to live counter-culturally by offering dignity, worth and purpose to women. They are paving the way for a new generation to be released as evangelists, teachers, leaders and interceders. Let's join them.
You and your church have the opportunity to partner with the Heart of Ministry Offering. Simply access the following resources: a 2-minute video, logo, bulletin insert, flyer, presentation slides. Go HERE or email ww@wesleyan.orgto have resources sent via email.
Sometimes, partnering with God’s Kingdom work is the catalyst to release the untapped potential in our own lives and churches as well.
For the Kingdom,
