Identifying the Next Generation of Church Leaders from Saint Paul School of Theology in Overland Park, Kansas, United States for Monday, 19 September 2016 "Message from President Neil Blair"
This past month I reconnected with friends of the seminary in Western Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. I will continue to do this in a variety of places throughout the year. Our visits further solidify for me that Saint Paul alumni and friends are among our greatest assets.
When we put together a video for prospective students this past week, I was able to reminisce about my own experience at Saint Paul. It was my pastor who encouraged me to follow the call to church work. I remember being so unsure. It was after visiting the Saint Paul campus and speaking with the faculty and seminary students that I could truly see myself in seminary. I am eternally grateful for the contribution that Saint Paul School of Theology has made in my life. Saint Paul is a seminary that empowers you to serve where you are called.
Do you see gifted young people in your congregation? Your student referrals give us the opportunity to do what we do best. Preparing the next generation of passionate fruitful pastors, church and Christian vocation leaders for transformational ministry and leadership is a remarkable privilege and an awesome responsibility.

Developing enrollment growth, human and financial resources, and maintaining academic excellence are three crucial factors for sustaining and strengthening Saint Paul. Please join with our Board and me in keeping a laser-like focus on these things.
