Identify one person, family, or group outside your local church. Why? Because one of the main themes in God Unbound is to get us out of our local church building and into conversation with our neighbors. Pray specifically for them. Then, go and ask this question or one similar to it.

“May I ask your opinion about the United Methodist Church? What value to you think Methodists add to our world? If you haven’t heard of the UMC, please tell me your thoughts about churches and the benefits they bring to our city?”

When the interview is over, ask God how that conversation can help you be a better disciple of Jesus Christ.
