Is Jesus Calling You? Come and See Vocations Weekend June 16-18, 2017 from The Brothers & Sisters of Charity of Troubadour for the Lord in Berryville, Arkansas United States for Monday, 1 May 2017
The rule of the brothers and sisters is the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. We should be troubled about nothing except this all encompassing rule.
All that matters is that one be created anew.
(BSC Scripture Rule, see Galatians 6:14-16)Galatians 6:14 But as for me, Heaven forbid that I should boast about anything except the execution-stake of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah! Through him, as far as I am concerned, the world has been put to death on the stake; and through him, as far as the world is concerned, I have been put to death on the stake.
15 For neither being circumcised nor being uncircumcised matters; what matters is being a new creation. 16 And as many as order their lives by this rule, shalom upon them and mercy, and upon the Isra’el of God!

The Brothers and Sisters of Charity will host a very special vocations weekend June 16 - 18, 2017 for those interested in life at our monastery as a celibate brother or sister, or a single who remains open to marriage.
We will begin Friday, June 16 at 5:15 PM with silent adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for a half hour, and a light supper, both with the community.
Our founder, John Michael Talbot, will then give a presentation. The weekend will end Sunday with noonMass and lunch.
You are most welcome to come and become better acquainted with us through common and personal prayer times, hearing talks, sharing meals, touring the monastery, celebrating Mass, and recreating with us.
The weekend is free, so you would only have to pay for your transportation to and from the monastery.
For true discernment, we recommend planning to stay for an extended week or two immediately following the vocation weekend! (This will also save you money in traveling expenses if you plan to return!)
Please take a moment and watch a short video about our motherhouse and way of life.
