Now don't fall all over.....I know this is Thursday and I'm sending this out! I know, pretty amazing!
So, here we go....
This weekend we will be hearing part 2 of "Leadership". Since Steve has been out of town all week, we will be hearing from Amy Elliott who is amazing! If you haven't had the privilege of hearing Amy speak yet you are in for a treat. I hope you can make it to one of our weekend services. And, if you are thinking of skipping this weekend because of the Super Bowl, I happen to know that it doesn't start until 3:30 pm which gives you plenty of time to go to church, get home and plan for your "partay"! If you don't think you have enough time to attend a Sunday service, well guess what??? You can go to the Saturday service in OB at 5pm :) Moving right along.....
Upcoming Events:
OB Homeless Breakfast on Saturday, Feb 1st from 8 - 10 am at Trinity Episcopal Church in Ocean Beach (2083 Sunset Cliffs). If you aren't able to volunteer, we could use some more men's clothing donations. We have plenty of women's clothes for this Saturday. If you do, please let me know and I can connect with you.
Valentine Outreach Prep Party on Friday, Feb 7th from 6 - 8pm at the OB Campus in the sanctuary. We will be assembling 1200 door hanger gift bags to be distributed to your friends, neighbors, co-workers and family. I need approximately 40 volunteers to make this happen. If you are available to help you can either respond to this email or you can sign up at the Guest Services area at either of our Coastal Campuses. Don't worry about eating dinner before you arrive cause I will have pizza and bottled water available.
Coastal Campuses Ladies Tea on Saturday, Feb 8th from 1 - 3pm at (5325 Pacifica Drive, San Diego) Love is in the air! Newbreak’s Amy Elliott will speak to us during this afternoon tea on the joys (as well as hardships) of experiencing love. Whether you are single, in a relationship, married, or divorced, Amy has God-focused insight for you that you won’t want to miss!
