Prayer Mobilization Line

Prayer Mobilization Line
The following are praise reports and prayer requests from Nazarene Missions International for Wednesday, 29 January 2014
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."--Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
PRAISES:
Maxwell Jon Drinkwarter
We would like to congratulate missionaries Mike and Sydney Drinkwater on the birth of Maxwell Jon, born January 19 weighing 7lbs and 9 oz. Baby and parents are all doing well. The Drinkwaters serve in South America as Operations Managers for Ecuador Extreme Nazarene.
Ganda Praises
Missionaries Friday and Mary Ganda share the following praises from Burundi:
We have just planted two new churches in Burundi this past week and are geared towards bigger things.
We are also glad that we got a strong 4WHEEL car that can climb the hills of Rwanda, and Burundi, and go the plains of Tanzania.
We want to thank you so much for making it possible for us to have this car for the Ministry.
NAF Praises
From the North Andean Field in South America come these wonderful praise reports:
“We had been praying for Maria de Carmen who had cancer. The cancer is gone and she is healed! She is the mother of Rodrigo Olmedo who is the pastor of the San Francisco church in Quito, Coordinator for the Jesus Film Ministry, and is a great help with all kinds of other matters.
Also we were praying for Edwin Robalino who had cancer and is the brother-in-law of Mario Paredes, superintendent of Centro Mountain District. He is healed and in great health. We praise the Lord for these two healings.”
PRAY FOR:
GLOBAL MINISTRY REQUESTS
Unrest in Thailand
Please continue to pray for calm in Thailand. The unrest is causing difficulties for both nationals and missionaries. The delay in visa processing caused by closed offices could affect missionary travel in and out of the country.
January Missionary Prayer Focus
Friday and Mary Ganda are missionaries serving in Burundi and they are part of the January Prayer Focus. Please join them in praying for the following needs:
Burundi is totally new and there is almost nothing. I am planning to start a Pastoral trainers program in Bujumbura.  We are challenged by the logistics but we have to start this training next month (February). We need a classroom and dormitory to keep our students. For now we will train them in our home until God provides.
The government is pushing on us to have what they call an address - that is a place where they can find us. We seriously need a property where we can put up a District Training Centre.
Kindly PRAY with us as we continue Kingdom Construction in this Country of Burundi.

The Harris family will bid farewell to their beloved father, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather in services on January 28 and 29. "I continue to dream and pray about a revival of holiness in our day that moves forth in mission and creates authentic community in which each person can be unleashed through the empowerment of the Spirit to fulfill God's creational intentions."--John Wesley, How To Pray: The Best of John Wesley on Prayer
