The annual Nazarene World Week of Prayer (NWWP) is nearly here. The dates this year for NWWP are Sunday, March 2 – Saturday, March 8. During NWWP, we encourage churches to develop a plan to involve their people in praying specifically for requests received from each Global Mission region. The requests are posted on the NMI website and can be viewed and downloaded by clicking here. We will also include some NWWP requests in PML for the next four weeks. This week’s NWWP requests are:

God to raise up and send more workers to plant churches in urban centers of the Mesoamerica Region.

Areas where the GENESIS project is starting in April 2014:
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

Pray that more young people in Japan will hear God’s call to serve as pastors and church planters and will receive the necessary training.

HEALTH-RELATED REQUESTS
Al Kessler - UPDATE
Please continue to pray for Al Kessler. He is scheduled to have a pacemaker inserted this week, which if all goes well, will be followed in the coming weeks with additional heart procedures. Of most urgent need, pray that Al’s heart will not stop before the pacemaker can be inserted and that he will heal well from that procedure so the other medical care can be administered. Father God, please bring complete healing to Al. He is the husband of Sharon Kessler who is the NMI district president of the Mid-Atlantic District. Al and Sharon also served as Mission Corps volunteers in Kenya, Africa, for several years.
Meza Mother
Please pray for Eduardo Meza’s mother who is in critical condition in Colombia. She needs prayer for healing. Eduardo is the superintendent of the Coast District in Ecuador. He and his wife have traveled to be with his mom and the family.
Thank you for praying.
The awesome presence of God that brings wholeness to all those who, "Take hold of my world with all of your heart…" is the essence of wisdom.~~Michael G. VanZant**
