Olathe, Kansas, United Stated - The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection West enote from Reverend Jason Gant for Friday, 21 March 2014
Resurrection West,
The fire pit has passed fire inspection and is all ready to go thanks to some awesome volunteers! Bring a chair and come on out tonight!

Join us tonight or tomorrow morning or both for some spring break fun! You can sign-up here at rezwest.org/campout, or just SHOW UP and you'll be welcomed with full-instruction and assistance! There's no cost, the weather promises to be wonderful and there are many kid-friendly activities and projects for everyone to enjoy.  This is a unique opportunity to camp overnight on church grounds, have some fun building Christian community and to begin work on a nature trail that will serve as a spiritual retreat on this campus for years to come.
We still have room to campout overnight if you'd like to join the many families who are doing so. My kids are so excited and I can honestly say that I've never camped out on any Church grounds anywhere - this will be a first for the Gant household!
If you aren't pre-registered for dinner or breakfast, please take care of your own meals. We have a specific number prepared for those that pre-registered. Here is the schedule for this evening and tomorrow morning.

Rez West Summer Trip - YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, CO, June 1-6. Come enjoy some of God's most beautiful work in the mountains of Colorado and some great family time at the YMCA in Estes Park. We will join together each morning for worship and a campfire the evening of June 5. Additional activities are your choice, with many to choose from. Arrangements for transportation, booking rooms (come days earlier or stay days later), activities, lunch and dinner are up to you. The room cost varies according to household size, ranging from $107-$179 per night, and includes a hot buffet-style breakfast each morning. We have ten rooms blocked (rooms sleep up to six) and will add rooms if needed. A $100 fee per household covers a devotional booklet and t-shirt for each family member, pastor expenses and supplies needed for worship. Register at rezwest.org/summertrip
Finally, I hope to see everyone in worship this Sunday. We will invite our kids and teens into worship with us for a family worship weekend (nursery available as always). This gives me an opportunity to emphasize how important it is to worship together as family. We have learned that worshipping as a family is the number one Church experience that guides our kids and teens toward life-long commitment to faith. Pastor Adam continues in "The Gospel of the Nobodies" series and we will join in signing powerful music led by our worship team! Plan on being there at 9am, 10:45am, or 5pm!
Looking forward to worshipping with you Sunday,
Pastor Jason
