Today,
it was announced that for the first time in the life of The United Methodist Church a church-wide conversation on human sexuality and homosexuality will be conducted.  Through the means of modern day communications The Connectional Table gathered in Chicago will conduct such a conversation tomorrow morning.  I hope that members of the California-Pacific Conference will participate in this important opportunity.  Please see more below.

The Connectional Table hosts an online conversation on human sexuality, our mission and United Methodist church law, on Tuesday, April 29th from 9:00 – 11:15 am CDT. The event begins with Bible study led by Bishop James Dorff, followed by a panel of United Methodist leaders and theologians who will discuss how we witness Christ’s love to the world in relationship to our doctrine.
