Supply Drive benefitting Field Elementary School & PazNaz's
Community Partners through August 10. You can pick up a list of
needed supplies from the patio on Sundays or from the church office

event on Thursday, August 28, at 6:00 pm in Gilmore Hall where you
will enjoy a delicious dinner, a white elephant gift exchange, and an
evening of inspiration. Special guests Henry and Marcia Yu will share
about their multi-cultural celebration of Christmas and there will be
a presentation from the PazNaz Children's Choir. The cost is $15.

Annual Fall Trip
If you are age
55 or better, you won't want to miss the PrimeTime Fall Trip to St.
Louis & Branson, Missouri on November 4-11. The cost is $1,500
for a double occupancy room, with single occupancy rooms also

Birthday
Brunches are back! Each month Women's Ministries wants to
celebrate birthdays with a special brunch hosted at Pastor Scott and
Debbie Daniels' home. Ladies, if your birthday is in August,
join the group on Saturday, August 9, from 10:30 am - Noon and

FUN:101 Events
Throughout the
summer, Women's Ministries will be hosting a variety of fun events
for Girlfriends:
- Color Me Mine - On
Wednesday, July 30, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm you can bring your
grandma, mother, daughter, or mentor to create a craft together
at Color Me Mine (81 South Fair Oaks, Pasadena, 91105). The cost
is $11 per person plus the cost of the piece you decorate.

- Mother-Daughter Date Night - On
Thursday, August 7, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm Mother-Daughter duos of
all ages are invited to enjoy an evening of poolside desserts
& devotions. Even if you don't have a mother/daughter
nearby, feel free to come and bring a friend. This event will be
held at Debbie & Sophie Daniels' home (625 West Hillcrest
Boulevard, Monrovia, 91016). The event is free, but please bring

August 17, there will be a special blessing during the 10:30 am
service. If your child is in grades K-12, please plan to take part
during the service to pray for the upcoming school year. Wearing

Welcome
Back Choir & Orchestra

Wednesday,
August 20, and Thursday, August 21
If you have ever
wanted to participate in either the choir or the orchestra, now is a
great time to start! The Celebration Choir will reconvene on
Wednesday, August 20, for hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 pm and rehearsal
from 6:45 - 8:30 pm. The Sunrise Orchestra will resume on Thursday,
August 21, with a dessert party and rehearsal from 7:30 - 9:00 pm.
Both groups meet in the Room 101, Lower Sanctuary each week. Please

Healing
Rooms
|

On Hiatus in
August; Returning September 6
The Healing
Rooms will not meet during the month of August, but will return
Saturday, September 6, from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm for a time of
prayer. Teams of 2 or 3 volunteers will pray with people for
healing or any other personal needs. The Healing Rooms will be
located in Room 112, Lower Sanctuary. If you can't make it that week,
the Healing Rooms will be available every first and third Saturday of
the month starting in September. For more information, please contact
