| GLOBAL MINISTRY REQUESTS |
| Volcanic Eruption |
| | The Fogo Island and Cape Verde, South Africa, awoke November 23 to the eruption of the Pico volcano. The eruption and lava have displaced 1,200 residents, mostly women and children, who lived in the Chā das Caldeiras region near the top of the volcano. They are in need of housing, clothing, food, and future livelihood. A team of Nazarenes from nearby communities has been helping continuously, in coordination with local organizations, to provide relief. Pray for the people who have displaced by the volcano. Pray for all those who have extended a helping hand, that God’s grace, love, and provision will be evident. |
| Living in Poverty and Ignorance |
| | "I lived in poverty and ignorance," said the 67 year-old man in Nicaragua. "My life was filled with sadness until the day the brothers from the JESUS Film team asked my permission to show the film in front of my home. I am so glad I agreed. They used a horn to announce the presentation. Many people, adults and children, came to see the movie. At the end, many became believers in Christ including me! I am very happy I received the Lord as my Savior. My home continues to be used for God with regular Bible studies occurring. “Pray for this man to have a vibrant ministry sharing God's love in his community. Visit jfhp.org for more stories of lives reached and changed for Christ. |
