The Lausanne Movement "What does God want for Christmas?" for Tuesday, 23 December 2014

On behalf of the Lausanne Movement I want to extend our warmest Christmas greetings to you and your family as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I recently received an email from our Honorary Lausanne Lifetime Executive Chair, Leighton Ford, who asked, 'What does God want for Christmas?' He asked me and other leaders to respond, and many wonderful answers were shared.
I personally would like to believe that God wants what we as a movement also want:

The gospel for every person

An evangelical church for every people
·
Christ-like leaders for every church
·
Kingdom impact in every sphere of society

Toward that end we are seeking to connect influencers and ideas for global mission.
In our 40th anniversary year, I 'm especially grateful for each of you who is a part of the Lausanne family. Merry Christmas! I 'm looking forward to a wonderful 2015 together!
