Hello Rez Blue Springs,
It has been a flurry of activity around the church this week as we have delivered the JOY bags you so generously donated, prepared for this weekend's Faithwork project at Lazarus table and finalized all the last details for Candlelight Christmas eve services. We've been making our lists and going over them mulitple times in preparation for these events. The sanctuary looks beautiful with the addition of the poinsettias offered in honor or memory of loved ones and thanks to a great crew on Thursday all the bulletins are stuffed and the candles are ready to go. Thousands of people will be coming to all our campuses seeking hope on this night. I would ask that you pray for our Sr. Pastor Adam as he prepares his message and that God would stir each of our hearts and call us to a life of faith, compassion, generosity, and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of the Christ child! If you haven't thought about it already, I want to remind you to put out your Christmas Eve yard signs from last year to let your neighbors know about our services. I encourage you to use your note cards from the bulletins to extend an invitation to your family and friends too.
