Doing It Better Together: A new effort is under way to reach out to Homeless Outreach Service providers who are not aware of Doing It Better Together. We have been hitting the streets every evening between Feb 1-14. Also, we will have anEast Village Clean-Up Day on Saturday, Feb 21 10am-Noon. Standby for additional info on how to sign-up to volunteer.

Downtown Fellowship participates in
Project Homeless Connect
The Downtown Fellowship (DF) hosted a table at Project Homeless Connect where literature was distributed for the programs we provide. The Church at Rancho Bernardo provided 1,000 hygiene kits for this event with contributions from other DF members. Left over kits were given to the Clothes Pantry.

Seven New Graduates of Life Skills
The 5th session of Life Skills celebrated the graduation of seven Connections Housing residents on January 29, 2015. The average class attendance was about twenty. Most of the sessions and Interviews with several participants were video recorded.

Church at Rancho Bernardo donated and delivered 211 new blankets to Connections Housing for the interim floors. Used blankets were also provided for the Clothes Pantry. CRB also gave $150 in gift cards for the purchase of diapers by the Clothes Pantry.
