Rev. Beth Hodgson, 77, a retired Associate Member of the Great Plains Annual Conference who was serving Plum Creek UMC in Kansas, born March 21, 1937, and her husband, Willis,78, born May 8, 1936, were killed in a single car accident near Osawatomie, Kansas on Sundayafternoon, February 22nd.
The Hodgson’s were the parents of Jada Hodgson who is a Certified Lay Minister serving the Princeton UMC in Kansas. Both of these churches are in the Five Rivers District.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 26, 2015, 5pm-8pm. Funeral service will be Friday, February 27, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. both at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home, 203 Main St., Osawatomie, Kansas.
Survivors include daughter, Jada Hodgson, 31025 W. 403rd St., Parker, KS 66072-5012; son, Wayne Hodgson, his wife Mary and children, Dara and Layton Hodgson of Paola, Kansas.
