I believe health care should be available to all people—no matter where they live, no matter how poor they are.
But to get there, we need committed people from all walks of life to join this movement. People who can harness the power of volunteer organizers—and mobilize their communities to stand with the poor, vulnerable communities PIH serves.
Around the country, teachers from North Carolina, young professionals from Seattle and Boston, retirees from Connecticut, and others have stepped up to grow this movement. And today, I'm hoping you'll consider doing the same.
We're looking for passionate volunteer organizers to start new grassroots teams in their communities. Find out more now, and apply by May 15 to lead a new team of PIH Engage.
Together, we organize by building strong teams capable of hosting events, rallies, town hall meetings, and marches.
- We educate by holding discussion groups and public lectures about the right to health.
- We fund high-quality health care for people living in poverty.
- We advocate global policies that further the right to health.
