We work with orphaned and physically disabled children. We live from the support that so many good hearts — especially from Italy — send us. Also the Italian bishops’ conference has supported some of the projects at our mission.
Here, practically every day, the electricity goes off and sometimes we aren’t able to follow the news, though there is a Catholic channel we can watch sometimes. But above all, it is from ZENIT that we hear the most important news events and what the Holy Father says each day.
It’s true that sometimes, days go by without communication, and we cannot read everything. But ZENIT is a clear and certain voice that accompanies us, also from Facebook — I opened an account for my family and I also follow ZENIT!
To communicate what is happening in the world to the community and to the children, so as to pray and to transmit our closeness through prayer, as invisible arms that enfold our brothers in the sorrow through which they are passing more and more of late, in our poor crucified world.
