THE SECRET LIVES OF ALMOST EVERYONE
SERIES : PART 3
We all have secrets. Some of them are harmless and others, well…not so much. One of the worst things about secrets is that when they’re locked up and hidden away, they have a powerful hold on us that grows stronger every day. What if we just acknowledged that not only does everybody have secrets, a lot of us struggle with the same ones? In The Secret Lives of Almost Everyone, we’ll shine a light on the struggles and challenges we all face and discover that not only do we all have struggles, we can all find solutions.
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.[1 Corinthians 10:13 (NLT)]

What exactly is Survive the Night? Each year our student ministry puts on a student outreach event that is based on a live action role playing game. Think Cops and Robbers meets Capture the Flag. We take over the TPC campus for an epic battle between good and evil. This year's event will be happening on TONIGHT from 6:00 - 10:30pm and is open to all middle and high school aged students. The cost of the event is $10 per student. Your student will not want to miss it, it is probably the most talked about event we put on each year. Mark your calendars now for this fun event and invite all those teens in the neighborhood!
Our Mid-week High School Student and Jr. High Student Growth Groups have launched and meet every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30pm in Wyle Chapel. You do not want to miss!

There is a Kids Costume Carnival on Sunday Oct 30th after the Modern service. There will be games, popcorn, cotton candy trick or treating, and a dunk tank! Thank you all who have donated candy for this event!! Are you interested in helping out with this? Email info@torreypineschurch.org.

THE PRAYER TEAM
Connie Fraser is leading a group of people to pray for everyone who submitted prayer on the Connection Cards and for other needs. Come and join Connie and her team on Wednesday's
in the Canyonview Room at 12:30pm.
We also have a team who will pray with people after the church services on Sunday. Please let us know if you would like to be a part of that team.
THE CHOIR
Our next big service will be the beautiful “Hanging of the Greens” on November 27th at 7:00pm. Our choir has always played a large part with singing Christmas anthems. So, we are asking you to please consider serving in the choir. You’ll be blessed in a wonderful way. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm in the Canyonview Room.

SERVICE TIMES:
We have 2 services on Sunday mornings. They both share the same message and communicator, but with a varied worship context and expression:
THE SANCTUARY meets at 9:00am and is traditional worship setting that embraces historical hymns and liturgical traditions with an authentic faith.
THE AUDITORIUM meets at 10:30am and is a worship experience where the music is louder, led by a live band, and authentic faith is celebrated.
Kids (birth - 5th grade)
Torrey Kids meet in the Berry Center and the Admin Buidling during both services.
Youth (6th - 12th grade)
Torrey Youth meet at 10:30am in Wyle Chapel.
