Proverbs 15:1 A gentle response deflects fury,
    but a harsh word makes tempers rise.
2 The tongue of the wise presents knowledge well,
    but the mouth of a fool spews out folly.
3 The eyes of Adonai are everywhere,
    watching the evil and the good.
4 A soothing tongue is a tree of life,
    but when it twists things, it breaks the spirit.
5 A fool despises his father’s discipline,
    but he who heeds warnings is prudent.
6 The home of the righteous is a storehouse of treasure,
    but the earnings of the wicked bring trouble.
7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge;
    not so the hearts of fools.
8 Adonai detests the sacrifices of the wicked
    but delights in the prayers of the upright.
9 Adonai detests the way of the wicked
    but loves anyone who pursues righteousness.

There are many seasons in life where we feel alone in our struggles and difficulties. The hurt, the pain, the ongoing circumstances of life seem to get the best of us on occasion. There are times where we sense or believe that we are the only ones who are dealing with a particular issue. A belief sets in that no one can understand what we are enduring or no one can relate to what we are going through in life.
The reality, though, is that we have One who has already endured and gone through troubles in life that we ourselves could never completely understand this side of heaven. While we feel alone in our daily struggles, even when we might be surrounded by others, we have a heavenly Father who cares, knows, and completely understands!
The emptiness we sense inside can be filled by bringing it all to the Lord. We weren’t meant to go through this on our own. We were meant to bring our struggles to God. He can relate and understand everything that impacts our lives. We were made for His excellence and it’s time we lived in this understanding on a daily basis.

Hymn for Today: "All Your Anxiety" by Edward Henry Joy
1. Is there a heart o’erbound by sorrow?
Is there a life weighed down by care?
Come to the cross, each burden bearing;
All your anxiety—leave it there.
Refrain:
All your anxiety, all your care,
Bring to the mercy seat, leave it there,
Never a burden He cannot bear,
Never a friend like Jesus!
2. No other friend so swift to help you,
No other friend so quick to hear,
No other place to leave your burden,
No other one to hear your prayer.
Refrain:
All your anxiety, all your care,
Bring to the mercy seat, leave it there,
Never a burden He cannot bear,
Never a friend like Jesus!
3. Come then at once; delay no longer!
Heed His entreaty kind and sweet,
You need not fear a disappointment;
You shall find peace at the mercy seat.
Refrain:
All your anxiety, all your care,
Bring to the mercy seat, leave it there,
Never a burden He cannot bear,
Never a friend like Jesus!

"In This World When You Are Chosen, you know That somebody else is not chosen. When you are the best, you know That somebody is not the best. When you win and receive a prize, you know there is somebody who lost. But this is not so in the heart of God. If you are chosen in the heart of God, you have eyes to see the chosenness of others. If the love of God blesses you, you have eyes to see the blessedness of others. The mystery of God's wonderful love is that you like with it
