  • What is a caregiving coalition?
A caregiving coalition is a community of representatives that has come together to address the needs of family caregivers across the lifespan. These coalitions support family caregivers, both families of origin(s) or families of choice(s), with information and referral services, educational outreach and advocacy. A caregiving coalition presents a united voice working to meet the complex social, medical, physical, financial, spiritual, and emotional needs of family caregivers.
The National Alliance for Caregiving is leading the way to engage and leverage this powerful voice for policy change by hosting the 2018 program: The Aging Network's Largest Non-Elder Stakeholder. This all-day event is held in conjunction with the American Society on Aging Conference-Aging in America-in San Francisco, California on Monday, March 26, 2018. Presentations will feature experts on home and community based service delivery, family and patient-centered policy, workplace innovation, and corporate engagement.
