We're back! Access to Kidz Kingdom is limited to volunteers and parents dropping off children on Sundays between the hours of 8:30a - 1:00p and Wednesdays between 6:30p - 8:00p. Parents will check in children on the lower level at the Paseo campus.

Senior Fitness & Bible Study
Join us at the Paseo Campus Wednesdays from 11a-11:30a for light to moderate exercise done from the comfort of a chair! A trained fitness expert will guide you through exercises that help strengthen your body. Then, stay for Bible Study from 11:30a -12:30p and get strengthened in the spirit! Feel free to bring a dish and join us for the potluck lunch following our study time.

Donor Needed. One of our long-time St. James members is on the kidney transplant waitlist at the University of Kansas Health System. If you are interested in becoming a living donor, with a simple blood test, general health assessment and the evaluation process is non-evasive. If you would be interested in helping them through living donation please contact Dr. Emanuel Cleaver III at 816-444-5588.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN Applications for the Catherine A. Davis Memorial Book Scholarship Award are now available. This Scholarship Award is available to a young African American female who is a member of St. James United Methodist Church and is a 2018 graduating senior. The application and award criteria can be obtained from Yvette Richards at yrichards@stjamesumc.com. All applications must be submitted by June 8, 2018, to the United Methodist Women Scholarship Award Committee, c/o Carolyn Celestine. Nursing Scholarship The Health Ministry is accepting applications for the Bessie Thompson Fleming Nursing Scholarship. Applicants must be a member of St. James UMC and enrolled in a Baccalaureate degree nursing program which begins in the Fall of 2017 or January of 2018.
