It’s Not Too Late to Sign Up for 2018 Serve Trips!
We’d love your help filling our teams so save the dates, invite a friend, and register for a life-changing trip to one of our ministry partners around the nation and world. Available trips: Denver--August 3-7, Puerto Rico--August 4-11 for disaster relief construction and Malawi--October 11-23 for economic empowerment. Trivia Night with 20/30s

Church Conference
A church conference will be held Tuesday, June 5, 6 pm to vote on the recommendations of our Staff Parish Relations Committee regarding pastoral compensation, including our Senior Pastor’s 2018-2019 salary package. The brief meeting will be in Room B252, located in the Foundry in Building B at the Leawood campus. All are invited, with voting restricted to church members. Registration not required. Childcare available.
Caregivers Group Book Study
Are you a caregiver for a family member or friend? Come to our Caregivers’ Group and find support in prayer and a network of others who can relate. The group will continue their book study on Missy Buchanan's "Living With Purpose in a Worn-Out Body" on Tuesday, June 5 at 6:30 pm in the 1522 McGee coffee shop! Getting Started at RezDT
Are you brand new to Resurrection or have you been attending awhile and want to become more connected? Join us Sunday, June 10, 12:15pm at 1522 McGee to meet with Pastor Scott and hear about the various ways to become more involved and to hear how the church started. Light snacks will be served! Construction Skills Boot Camp and Potluck
Interested in learning about construction ministry? Join us for a construction skills boot camp and grill out Wednesday, June 13, 5 – 7 pm. This will be an opportunity for congregants to learn or enhance a home repair skill, meet new friends in service, and see the new Healing House facility. Special Serve Saturday and Story Telling Workshop June 16
Join us June 16 for a special workshop and then head out to serve at one of our partner schools! At 9 am, we’ll gather at 1522 McGee. From 9:30 – 11, gifted instructors from the National Story Telling Networkwill work with our community on enhancing their personal and family stories, and the craft of storytelling. If you have old family photos you’d like to upload, bring them and we’ll help you scan them in. Then at 11 am, join others from the Church of the Resurrection community and serve the rest of the day at Whittier Elementary School (1012 Bales Ave., KCMO). Register here for the storytelling event and hereto serve a shift at Bless the School! If you have children, you are encouraged to take them to VBC at Margaret Kemp park while you participate in this program! Register your kids for VBC here.
Meals Ministry Needs Volunteers
If you have a heart for serving friends who are grieving, adjusting to life with a new baby, or recovering from surgery, consider joining the meals ministry! We cook meals and deliver them to homes for short-term needs. If you don’t like to cook, consider ordering take out and dropping it by instead!
