It’s wonderful to be back home after a time away on vacation, even though I'm in Wichita for the next few days at Annual Conference. We road-tripped to Florida to visit family, celebrated Scharme’s parent’s 50th wedding anniversary, and played at the beach. It’s been great to hear about moving Sunday worship, 43 high school students serving on mission to Louisiana, and Sports Camp this week with over 100 campers (some pics at the conclusion of this eNote)happening so far this summer!
June is moving fast and we have many more great ways to connect, grow, and serve this summer! Tonight is the rezlife student ministries summer kick-off party for both middle school and high school from 6:30-8:30pm. We are excited to welcome Sydney Hoover as a summer intern with rezlife west, whose already helped to lead our high school mission to Shreveport, LA. just last week. This Friday night all are invited to movie night from 6:30-8:30pm in the RezWest Sanctuary from 6:30-8:30 pm. We’ll be watching Wonder. The Road to Wisdom
The Road to Wisdom: Building Better Relationships is a 6-week class and starts Tuesday, July 10, 6:30-8:30 pm with childcare. This class uses the Enneagram Personality Trait Assessment to help people (singles or marrieds) discover what it means to build better relationships through understanding themselves and understanding others. Disciple Small Group Leaders
RezWest is actively recruiting Disciple Bible Study Leaders and Small Group Leaders for this fall. Disciple Bible Study is a 24-week overview of the bible and requires you have taken the course to lead it. There is no such requirement to be a Small Group Leader, just a desire to grow in your faith and a passion to help others grow as well. Contact David.Robertson@cor.orgfor more information.
