Matthew 7:
19 Any tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown in the fire! 20 So you will recognize them by their fruit.
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants. 22 On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’[Matthew 7:23 Psalm 6:9(8)]
24 “So, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on bedrock.
(Complete Jewish Bible).
Matthew 6:19-21
Earthly and heavenly treasures
19 “Stop collecting treasures for your own benefit on earth, where moth and rust eat them and where thieves break in and steal them. 20 Instead, collect treasures for yourselves in heaven, where moth and rust don’t eat them and where thieves don’t break in and steal them. 21 Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
(Common English Bible)
The only difference between junk in the junkyard and merchandise at the stores is just time.
Treasure is junk just waiting to happen.
Jesus is very pro-treasre  and he gives the greatest investment tip of all time: "But store up for yourselves treasurs in Heaven..."
God is so determined to treasure you that he sent His Son, Jesus, to live, teach and then die on a cross for you.
Every human being has an invisible price tag: eternal, image of God, worth the life of God's Son.
This passage is about stewardship not about giving tithes only from one's income.
The items we have become junk over time as technology increases.
Certain items like watches are passed down from generation to generation.
Even our personal treasures end up in junkyards after we are gone.
Our lives are meant to be treasures in storage by Jesus ans because of Jesus.
Our children have treasures in what they love.
Jesus says not treasure things, to treasure what is eternal.
Jesus is gives us the grestest treasure which is to love God with one's whole heart, mind, body, and spirit than to love your neighbor as yourself.
One can never treasure God any less than you can.
Our earthly lives are short compared to eternal life.
Our earthly lives have an end, but our Heavenly lives have no end.
We have no concept of eternity, so God says treasure the Heavenly things because they do not end.
God treasures every person no matter who you are.
One reason more people are diagnosed with depression because they are lonely for honest companionship and relationship.
Always remember that God treasures you. Also God treasures every person in the world the same, He loves us differently because each person is different.
An example is how different our children are.
Are we willing to treasure ourselves and all other people as God treasures us and them whike not leaving us or others as we are because He loves too much to not see our transformations to be more like Jesus.
