Dr. Priscilla Pope-Levision will give the Stover-Ward Lecture entitled,
Pioneers in Women's Theological Education: Deaconess Training Schools on September 20 at 11:00 a.m. in Wesley Chapel. Priscilla Pope-Levison is Associate Dean for External Programs at Perkins School of Theology. Her research includes Women's Studies, History of American Christianity, Wesleyan Studies, Evangelism, and Ecumenism.

Rev. Dr. Allan Boesak will present the Saint Paul Wayne E. Drake Peace Lecture entitledDisrupting the Ways of Evil: Following the Ways of Love, Peace, and Justice on Tuesday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the main sanctuary of Church of the Resurrection. Allan Boesak is a theologian, humanitarian, author and advocate for social justice. During the 1980s he worked alongside Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela in South Africa to lead efforts against apartheid and promote reconciliation. He currently serves as the Desmond Tutu Chair of Peace, Global Justice and Reconciliation Studies at Christian Theological Seminary in Indiana.
Both lectures are free and open to the public. Register online for meals on either day.
*Faculty, staff, and students will not need to register for meals.
