"Crucifixion myth: the body of Jesus rotted on the cross" by Stephen M. Miller

LEFT TO ROT? Would Romans have kept the body of Jesus on the cross long after he died, as part of the punishment and humiliation, and as a warning to others not to mess with Rome?CRITICS OF THE CRUCIFIXION STORY argue that the Romans would never have allowed anyone to take the body of Jesus off the cross.
As one gentleman wrote me after watching my video, What Romans Said About Crucifixion,
The Romans were absolutely in charge; as such, they would not have cared one whit about removing his body from the cross before sundown in respect for the Jewish Sabbath. They left bodies up there to rot, to remind the citizenry not to mess with Roman order.
The gent is right, partly. Instead of writing a blog article about it, I decided to create a short video: Crucifixion Myth.
