The Rev. Walter E. Bailey, 86, a retired clergy member of the Great Plains United Methodist Conference, born June 30, 1930, passed away October 12, 2016.
Walter served Oxford-Atlanta, Sutton, Lincoln Aldersgate, Omaha St. Paul Assoc.,
Assoc. Director N.E. Methodist Hospital Foundation in Nebraska and retired in 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, 15606 Spring St., Omaha, NE 68130, sons: Dave (Friend, Patty Hanson), Ted (Marilyn), Ron (Kathy), Tim (Annette), Don (Robin). Preceded in death by parents Elmer and Frances Bailey, daughter-in-law Rhonda Bailey and granddaughter Liberty Bailey.
Service was held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Omaha, Nebraska. Internment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
