In our world today, there are so many ways to communicate with other people - e-mail, Facebook, texting, videophones, Instagram and Twitter. Sometimes we try to communicate with another person, but they are not available. So we leave a message and wait for them to reply.
I praise God that we have a special way to communicate with Him. That way is prayer! We do not need any special technology. We can pray to God anywhere at any time. Isn't that wonderful?
God is always available. He is always ready to pay attention to our prayers. We don't have to leave a message and hope that He gets it at some future time. Any time of day we can communicate with God.
Paul tells us in our Bible verse that we can pray at all times and with all kinds of prayers. God is available twenty-four hours a day. Take time to communicate with Him today.[Suzanne Austin-Hill]
"The Lord watches over those who do what is right, and he listens to their prayers. But he is against those who do evil."[1 Peter 3:12]
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me a way to communicate with You every day. In Jesus' name. Amen.
