For more than 40 years now, I have performed concerts and conducted workshops in all kinds of churches - many of them large churches that could easily afford to bring me in. I have, however, always been a member of a small church and have longed to bring my music and whatever I have learned about worship to small churches who have no money to bring workshop leaders and artists. Now as a part of a new ministry called Interlude Retreats Corporation, I can go to small churches and am loving this work. Interlude is helping me build what I call "Small But Mighty Church Weekends". If you are a part of such a church or know of a small church that would want to consider such a weekend, please write to me and tell me about the church. The only thing we ask is that the churches hopefully can help with travel, lodging and meals. Here is a link to a video which will show you some places we have been. Thanks for watching. I got to play the very first piano I learned how to play on today. The family who had "her" for many years want her to go to someone or organization that needs her and would appreciate her. In the last week we have seen many changes in the refugee polices of our country. It reminded me of a song I wrote way back in 1993, but still has relevance today. Whether you are for or against the new decision that was made, you might wish to listen to the song.
