Movies kick off early this year with a special showing on the last early sunset before the time change. Grab your blankets and chairs, and join your neighbors over at Adams Avenue Park. Normal Heights United Methodist Church has lined up even more activities and features for the night.

Hands-on learning activities for the kids!
From 4:00 - 6:00 PM kids can learn about the different types of algae that you can find right off our coast! Get a chance to touch the different species and learn more about how kelp is used in our every day life.

15 Minute documentary w/ the director
We’ll also be screening the 15 minute documentary “The Oyster Revival” before the movie, with the director on hand to answer your questions.

Intermission dance party!
The tradition continues! Kids and adults are encouraged to get up and shake their sillys out at our 5 minute Intermission Dance Party.

Learn about all the great things your local school has been up to. The Spanish Language Immersion program, after school clubs, robotics and the upcoming construction that will transform the school.

Oyster Revival Screening and Oyster Sampling
TUESDAY, MARCH 7
While the director, Allison Keir, is in town - she’s doing a meet and greet night over at Beerfish. The owner Abel is committed to sourcing sustainable seafood and will highlight some amazing oysters from around North America. With 30 beers on tap and a wine list, it will be a lively and fun night.
