Seeking Applications for the Medtronic Foundation 2018 Bakken Invitation
Deadline to Apply: July 18, 2018
Applications for the 2018 Bakken Invitation are now open through July 18, 2018. Each year, the Medtronic Foundation's Bakken Invitation honors inspiring individuals from around the world who have overcome health challenges thanks to medical technology and have chosen to use their extra life to make a difference in communities through advocacy, innovation, and volunteering. Named after Medtronic co-founder Earl Bakken, the Bakken Invitation brings together and recognizes individuals who "Live On" through their advocacy contributions, "Give On" through innovation, and "Dream On" through their vision of a better world.
Do You Know an Inspiring Patient Who Gives Back?
Each year, the Medtronic Foundation selects a new group of honorees who are invited to Hawaii (Earl's current home) for five inspirational days of leadership sessions and networking with others who are making the world a better place through advocacy, innovation, and volunteering. They are also recognized by Earl Bakken as leaders in driving change and transforming healthcare. The event includes air transportation, meals, and lodging for two in Kona, Hawaii from Jan. 9-14, 2019. Program information is available HERE.
