Dear Friends,
Friends, as awesome and wonderful as this past Sunday's worship experiences were (there is nothing quite like Easter, and the nearly 3,000 people who gathered at Trinity to celebrate the reality that "He
is Risen!), but this coming Sunday's worship will be uniquely special in its own way, as we will celebrate the CONFIRMATION of nearly 70 of our youth! This will take place in the 9:40 service, but their photos will be shown in the 8:15 service, and they will be introduced at the beginning of the 11:00 service.
The Confirmation reception will follow at 11:15 in the youth building, so there will be no Modern Worship service this Sunday, but we are excited that the Modern Worship Praise Team will provide the music at the 9:40
service.
So, please be in prayer for our wonderful youth, giving thanks for our great youth ministry team, for the families who have made Confirmation the high priority it deserves and for a church which prioritizes and
celebrates its youth! I hope to see you Sunday.
I also hope to see many of you this Wednesday as we once again are having our Free Spaghetti Dinner, Wednesday, April 23, starting at 5:30 to kick off
our final session of Wednesday night events. Thanks, Franny!
Finally, we are counting down to the Mortgage Burning and our one big service, June 1. Currently we stand at $243,000 I just know we're going to make it! We'll keep you posted. And THANKS to ALL who have
given, are giving and are going to give!
Blessings, Dan

A word from Rev. Esther: Christ is risen indeed! I'm still trying to take in the game-changing, wondrous reality of the Resurrection. Thanks be to God for that generous redemption! I'm looking forward to continuing to celebrate Easter this Sunday with our Confirmation class. There will be NO Modern Worship at 11 am in the Youth Building, but the MW band will join in on the celebration at 9:40 am in the Worship Center. Hope to see you there! The grave is overwhelmed- let's continue our celebration as Easter people throughout this week and beyond!A word from Rev. Aaron: What a glorious week! I am still processing all I experienced throughout my first Holy Week at Trinity. More than ever (if that were even possible), I am profoundly grateful to be one of your pastors. I am looking forward to hearing Ted Nelson preach tomorrow at the 6:35 service in the Chapel and am also very excited for Confirmation Sunday which is this Sunday - during the 9:40 service 14 youth will be baptized and more than 60 will be confirmed in the faith. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

This week's Mission Box supports COCINA. Coalition of Children in Need Association (COCINA) is a US, Christian based organization formed in 1990. COCINA's focus for eradicating poverty in Haiti is to provide quality education, healthcare and economic development. The Christian school has grown to educate over 2400 students with a number attending college. The clinic provides 24/7 healthcare to over 15,000 patients per year. In addition, the economic program is now creating jobs for the graduating students in healthcare, business and trades so they can break the cycle of poverty by being able to make a decent living.
