Prayer Mobilization Line - The following are praise reports and prayer requests from Nazarene Missions International for Wednesday, 2 April 2014
"But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners."--Romans 4:5 NLT
PRAISES: Tactic Church
Built entirely with local sacrifice, funds, and labor, a 1,000-seat sanctuary has been built in Tactic, Guatemala. The sanctuary is the worship home for a Spanish-speaking congregation that grew out of a Bible study Missionary Helmer Juarez started in his home over 20 years ago. The church is one of 33 churches on the new Guatemala South Verapaz District. Its distinction is that it is the one Spanish congregation on the district among the other 32 churches that worship in the Poqomchi’ language. The vision and construction for the new facility started years ago. At times, the congregation asked for financial help but when it wasn’t forthcoming, they prayed, fasted, sacrificed and kept going. The Lord honored their prayers.
Village Chiefs
Village chiefs from various tribes in Guinea Bissau have donated land for the construction of the first Nazarene school in this country. Thank you Lord for this provision! Click here to read more in the NCN News story.
