Olathe, Kansas, United States - Stephen M. Miller for Monday, 14 April 2014  "KC shooting of folks in my church"
IT WAS A HATEFUL PALM SUNDAY.
This is normally my blog post for the Bible Question of the Week.
I’m thinking the question this week should be “Why?”
While I was at my first-ever Passover meal yesterday, a Seder hosted for my Bible study group in the home of a Jewish member of our group, someone stormed into the nearby Jewish Community Center and shot to death several people, including a grandfather and his 14-year-old grandson…both of whom attended my church.
Dr. William Lewis Corporon and Reat Griffin Underwood.
The first we knew of the shooting was while we were clearing off the Passover table.
Our Jewish host’s daughter frantically called from the Jewish Community Center, saying she was in lock-down.
The shooting suspect, a man in his 70′s, shouted “Heil Hitler” as he was arrested. I saw the video. I heard the words. I felt my stomach drop.
I should think about this before writing anymore.
Yes.

"Stolen Ark"
Which country, according to some Bible experts, likely stole Israel’s most sacred relic: the Ark of the Covenant, which held the 10 Commandments?
Iraq, home of the Babylonian Empire. They looted Jerusalem in 586 BC, and may have taken this gold-plated chest. See 2 Kings 24:13.
