Link to Reflecting God - Embrace Holy LivingKansas City, Missouri, United States - Reflecting God – Embrace Holy Living - “God’s 20/20 Vision” – Sunday, 13 July 2014 - Scripture: Psalm 33:10-12 God takes the wind out of Babel pretense,
    he shoots down the world’s power-schemes.
God’s plan for the world stands up,
    all his designs are made to last.
Blessed is the country with God for God;
    blessed are the people he’s put in his will.
13-15 From high in the skies God looks around,
    he sees all Adam’s brood.
From where he sits
    he overlooks all us earth-dwellers.
He has shaped each person in turn;
    now he watches everything we do.
16-17 No king succeeds with a big army alone,
    no warrior wins by brute strength.
Horsepower is not the answer;
    no one gets by on muscle alone.
18-19 Watch this: God’s eye is on those who respect him,
    the ones who are looking for his love.
He’s ready to come to their rescue in bad times;
    in lean times he keeps body and soul together.
20-22 We’re depending on God;
    he’s everything we need.
What’s more, our hearts brim with joy
    since we’ve taken for our own his holy name.
Love us, God, with all you’ve got—
    that’s what we’re depending on.
“God’s 20/20 Vision” by Wil Watson
An evangelist friend with a wry sense of humor once joked, "God's eye is on the sparrow, and He's watching you birds too." Whatever kind of "bird" we may be, He sees and knows us. God is more than the eternal eye in the sky. He’s not in some far-off place in outer space; His Presence is all around us. He knows what’s going on in our world—and in our lives. He sees when we need comfort, healing, guidance, enlightenment, even rebuke. He has unlimited vision–the ultimate extra sensory perception. Our medical X-rays, scans, and MRI’s pale in comparison!
While God especially sees the needs of those who fear Him (Psalm 33:18), He also “sees all mankind” (Psalm 33:13). He sees and cares about the “nobodies” of the world—the indistinguishable ones in earth’s vast horde of humanity. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery bears this inscription: “Here rests in honored glory an American soldier known but to God.” Known but to God—He sees what no one else sees!

Want proof? Read the Gospels. Study Jesus’ caring ministry to the least, the lost, the lonely. That’s perfect 20/20 vision in action; the kind God has!
Hymn for Today:
“God Will Take Care of You” by Civilla D. Martin
1. Be not dismayed whate’er betide,
God will take care of you;
Beneath His wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.
Refrain:
God will take care of you,
Through every day, o’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.
2. Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
God will take care of you;
When dangers fierce your path assail,
God will take care of you.
Refrain:
God will take care of you,
Through every day, o’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.
3. All you may need He will provide,
God will take care of you;
Nothing you ask will be denied,
God will take care of you.
Refrain:
God will take care of you,
Through every day, o’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.
4. No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one, upon His breast,
God will take care of you.
Refrain:
God will take care of you,
Through every day, o’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.
