Dear Friends of NTS,
We are so thankful for the support you’ve been showing as we “press on toward the goal” of $1,000,000 by fiscal year end (June 30, 2016). In the last email, I said that we needed another $200,000 in donations, large and small, to match a pending large gift of the same amount and the gifts have been coming in! We still have a distance to go, so please keep NTS in mind in your prayers and finances. Your investing in Nazarene Theological Seminary achieves so much on campus, in churches and in the community!
From May 16 - 20, Nazarene Theological Seminary (in partnership with Refresh) served the residents of Blue Hills, a nearby neighborhood, by helping paint 30 homes! More importantly, we focused on building relationships, sharing the love of God, and helping neighbors help neighbors.
Here’s what NTS neighbor Jeanette Bolden had to say:
“I appreciate the joy, hope, peace and God’s love that you’ve shown. Your concern for others and the neighborhood means so much. Your friendship means the world to me.”
In times like this, I’m also reminded of what Jesus said:
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14 NIV)
