Reunion 2016 to Feature Financial Expert, Author, and Alumna, Kim Curtis

Reunion 2016 is just one week away and the Planning Committee is pleased to welcome alumna Kim Curtis ‘83, a nationally recognized wealth management advisor, as one of the weekend’s speakers. Curtis is President and CEO of Wealth Legacy Institute based in Denver, Colorado, and has been published in a variety of publications including the Wall Street Journal. Her groundbreaking work in developing a highly personal client-centric legacy planning model was recognized in the Journal of Practical Estate Planning, winning the Editor's Choice award. 161st Commencement Celebrates Graduates, Honors Benefactors

Elmira College celebrated the graduation of 376 students during the 161st Commencement on June 5th. Following President Smith’s welcome and recognition of Emily Feldpausch, Class of 2016 Valedictorian, four College benefactors were conferred with the honorary Doctor of Humane Letters based upon their long-standing dedication and support to the College. Those bestowed with an honorary degree were George L. Howell, Elizabeth P. Rettie ’50, Dr. Edward J. Grandt, and Robert G. Morris. Click here to read more…

On Saturday, May 21st, a group of Elmira College alumni and guests pulled up a chair and sat down for a cozy conversation in Agora Downtown, a coffee shop in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Profesor Alison Wolfe Receives Marketing Education Award

Alison M. Wolfe, Associate Professor of Marketing, was recently named a recipient of the “Best Paper in Track, Marketing Education, The John Berens Marketing Education Award” for her research paper entitled, “Student and Client Perceptions of Experiential Learning for Marketing Education with Two Non-profit Organizations,” at the MBAA International - Marketing Management Association Conference in Chicago.
