Love as Defiance: Online Multifaith Worship after Orlando
With Rev. Dámaris Enid Ortega, Linda Sarsour, Rabbi Angela Buchdahl, Rev. Jacqui Lewis (live from Stonewall), Bishop Yvette Flunder, Rev. Paul Raushenbush, Rev. Katharine Henderson.

First we mourn, then we organize. Join people of faith from around the country to stand in solidarity with the victims and families in Orlando, and the LGBTQ and Muslim communities.
Since the tragic shooting in Orlando, I've been glued to my phone - trying to make sense of what happened.
I watched President Obama address the nation.
I read the messages of solidarity from the LGBTQ and American Muslim communities.
I saw pictures of Muslims donating blood and money in Florida.
Now, what I really need is a place to be together with other people of faith who want to mourn and make a difference.
That's why at 8pm tonight, I invite you to join people from the multifaith movement for justice for an online worship. We'll sing, pray, and maybe even dance a little to re-center our spirits so we can heal and repair the world.
Here are the details:
Monday, June 13th at 8 pm
With Rev. Dámaris Enid Ortega, Linda Sarsour, Rabbi Angela Buchdahl, Rev. Jacqui Lewis (live from Stonewall), Bishop Yvette Flunder, Rev. Paul Raushenbush, and Rev. Katharine Henderson.
After the tragic shooting in Charleston, faith leaders hosted a prayer-in to stand in solidarity with the people of Emanuel AME Church. People joined using #PropheticGrief from their homes, coffee shops, and on the street.
We witnessed the power of mourning together, then organizing together.
Today, if we can mourn together again in a powerful and prophetic way, we'll be setting the stage for powerful action in the coming weeks.
Please join us for the online worship service after the tragic hate crime in Orlando.
With love and appreciation,
Michelle and the Groundswell team
P.S. Share your prayers and love with us by commenting on the livestream, or over Twitter using the hashtags #LoveAsDefiance and #PropheticGrief.
