During this time of episcopal transitions, we pray for the Annual Conference staff and the appointive cabinet members of each conference. The prayer that follows is taken from the Rev. Dr. Paul Chilcote’s wonderful book A Life-Shaping Prayer: 52 Meditations in the Wesleyan Spirit. It reminds us all that, when our lives are spiritually formed and centered in Jesus Christ, transitions have less power to cause disruption, fear, or anxiety.
