More than 800 people are reported dead in Haiti, after Hurricane Matthew battered the nation earlier this week.
The storm flooded rivers, swept away homes, and decimated crops—leaving another 350,000 people in need of urgent help.
But the true destruction of Matthew is still unknown.
Communities in Haiti's south remain cut off by flooded roads and bridges. And every day, as we learn more, the death toll rises.
Partners In Health has a great team in Haiti, who are prepared to work anywhere there is great need. I hope all of us will do what we can to ensure they're able to do their job.

We're now mobilizing much-needed medical supplies to fight cholera and other water-borne diseases—expected to rise as clean water supplies dwindle.
And, thanks to our supporters, we've already dispatched medical staff to assist colleagues in Haiti's hardest-hit communities.
But, we must do so much more, and we need your immediate support.
Please, help hurricane victims in urgent need. Send $15 to Haiti today.

The Haitian government estimates more than 350,000 people need urgent help in Matthew's wake.
Yesterday, Partners In Health responded, mobilizing medical supplies including tools to fight an anticipated increase in cholera and other diarrheal diseases.
We're now sending medical staff to support colleagues in Haiti's south, and working tohelp more injured people find the emergency care they need.
But, we're relying on you. Please, give now.
