1. In you I find forgiveness
Yes in you I find release
Its a wonder you take all the blunders i make
And so graciously offer me peace
2. In you i find true friendship
Yes your love is free of demands
Oh i must hurt you so
You keep letting me know
To discover the person i am
Chorus:
You, you are my wholeness
You are my completeness
My soul my thirsty soul can rest in the depths of your love
3. Like a father you know to protect me
Yet you know i must learn on my own
Well live made my own choice
To follow your voice
Guiding me back to my home
Chorus:
My soul my thirsty soul can rest in the depths of your love
Praise you Father, you indeed protect me, yet you do know i must learn things on my own. I need to learn the consequences of my mistakes. And you ALWAYS guide me back to what is right, true, and absolute. Praise you for your unfailing love. My soul is thirsty for you Lord. Praise you because you provide! AMEN!

Once when I was about ten years old I got lost in the woods near my home. I had spent just about every summer day in those woods and knew them very well. However, on one particular day I ventured out farther than normal and just got a little turned around.
I began walking in what I though was the direction towards home, but within a few minutes I realized nothing looked right and I got scared. Walking soon became running and silent wondering became screaming the word HELP!!! I was lost--dreadfully hopelessly and completely lost. After about an hour my screaming and running turned into silent walking and frantic thoughts that I was going to die out here--being lost is scary especially at age ten. Then suddenly I heard--faintly at first but then distinctly--the voice of my father! He had come to find me and was shouting my name. I shouted back, "DAD I'M OVER HERE!!!" And my dad responded, "Stay where you're at, and I'll come to you!"
This song reminds me of the fathers--and especially God our father--who call out to us in love and lead us home.
Dear Abba, thank you for allowing me the freedom to find my own way and the love in finding me when I'm lost, and leading me back to my home with you. Amen.
