The Deaf Devo - The Deaf Missions in Council Bluffs, Iowa, United States for Monday, 31 July 2017 "Bible Buildings (10)" Bible Reading: Acts 28:16, 30-31
Acts 28:
16 And when we arrived at Rome, the officer allowed Sha’ul to stay by himself, though guarded by a soldier.
30 Sha’ul remained two whole years in a place he rented for himself; and he continued receiving all who came to see him, 31 openly and without hindrance proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

Today we will talk about our last Bible building. Acts, chapter 28, tells us that Paul was a prisoner in Rome. Paul was arrested and taken to Rome so he could appear before the leader of the Roman Empire.
While Paul was in Rome, he was allowed to live in a house. "But a soldier stayed with him to guard him" (verse 16b). Paul was a prisoner, but he didn't allow his circumstances to stop him from telling other people about Jesus.
Maybe you think that you cannot tell other people about Jesus because you have financial problems or a disability or family troubles. Even though Paul was guarded all the time, he used his circumstances as an opportunity to share the Good News of salvation.
God can use you to spread the message about Jesus through every situation you face today. Depend on Him to help you share the news!
"Praise God...He can use the Good News that I teach to make you strong. It is the message about
Jesus Christ that I tell people." [Romans 16:25a]
PRAYER: Father, please use me today to share the Good News about Jesus with someone. In Jesus' name. Amen.
